I hate asking such a newb question but i wasn't sure what these engines responded to better, i know some MAF motors are picky...

My plan is to do a LSX swap next year so for the time being i wanted to know which is preferred, a drop in K&N filter in the stock air box or a MAF adapter and a K&N cone filter on the end of the factory intake tube?

BTW, the car is a 98 240SX SE.

if you just gonna do a swap in a year just get a stock drop in for the time being.
