K&N Air Filter P/N

Many of you may already know this, however; I thought I would share this for those who do not. K&N does not show a direct replacement filter for the '07 or '08 in there online catalog, but I was able to cross reference the OEM to K&N p/n 33-2036. This filter does fit the dimensions of the stock air box, however it is not as thick as the OEM. I have had it installed for about 200 miles with no issues. Seems to work fine. FYI.

Thanks for the welcome. I have been browsing this forum for a few weeks along with some others. There seems to be alot of good information about our cars. I hope to be able to share some of my experiences with my vehicle as I go along. So far I have just under 800 miles since I took delivery on 4-10-08. I am still trying to break the engine in. I am doing an oil change this weekend with a mineral based oil. I will switch to synthetics on my next oil change at 3 months or 3000 miles. I have always usedMobil 1 in past vehicles without consequence. I have considered trying Royal Purple, but do not have any direct experience with this brand. We use it here at the chemical plants for our rotating equipment with good success. Does anyone have any experience between the two brands? Pros and cons, bad or good experiences? Any info welcomed.
