I have been looking for the correct plugs and air filter and no one seems to have the model # given for these parts in the CA18DET FAQ. Have the companies changed their model numbers? I asked if they have a filter for the 88 pulsar 1.8 CA or the 240 SX and they have both. Which would be the appropriate filter.

I just measured the MAF, and went to O'Reilly (or any other K&N retailer) and matched it up. Honestly, my filter is a little to long, and I will be switching to an HKS Super Mega Flow soon.

As far as plugs, I run NGK BCPR6ES-11s. I tried the 7 range, and they just fould too quick.

I just walk into O'Reilly Auto and ask for them (I have their stock number for them somewhere) and I trade $4.50 for them. Pretty good racket if you ask me

I got the K& N in, it is the same as the 1.8L Ca in the pulsar. The NGK double platinum ones i cannot find anywhere. I have the part number and everything but no one seems to carry them. I'll have to keep looking.

I don't know for sure, but all the sets of #6 plugs I've bought have been intake side for the ca18et (200sx). The exhaust side are always #5's, at least at my local autoparts bins. I've measured them and they're the same length and all, so not saying, just saying. Good luck.

Don't mess with the platinum or iridium plugs. I've tried both and neither are worth the money. Stick with the plain ol' coppers.

Ok, I guess I'm a retard, the stock style PFR6A-11 plugs are platinum. I did learn something new, which is that if you plan on running N20, you shouldn't use platinum plugs.

I am currently running the BCPR7EIX-11. They are fouling some though, so I think I'm going to switch back down to a #6 heat range...

I've run all three and the platinum and iridium aren't worth the money, for the simple fact that you're not supposed to gap them. The tips are to fragile, and the coppers cost about, what like $1.18 a plug...the gas mileage is the same and I haven't noticed any performance difference, except a very slight idle smoothness...
