I just got a 2006 G35 Coupe and also a newbie to this club.I heard if installing K&N Air filter it should increasing the performance. Is it true?

K&N Air filter is much expensive than the OEM filter so is it worthy to use the K&N part?

Is it going to affect the MFG warranty if using the K&N parts instead of OEM parts?

Thanks

It won't increase HP and if it does it wont be much. Your still using the same intake, its just a better filter that will allow air to move alittle more freely then the paper one, but change it over, the paper one gets incredibly dirty which will restrict airflow.
