Yeah subframe bushings..... Its an advanced DIYer, id do it over a weekend or so... Might be fun....

Not easy and you gotta have air tools..... id say about 6-8 hours labor... Youll replace with poly bushings for a 240 or 300zx

thanx elwesso, why air tools? are the poly bushings gonna change the ride? got plenty of 1/2 drive tools w/brkr bar, torque wrench and a strong arm. maybe put some pb blaster on the fasteners a few times. can i just change a couple at a time? i dont have a pit to work from so ill be on my back with Q on stands, not my favorite. how many man hrs. would a dealer spec for this job? of course ill get those parts from joe. thanx again

6-8 hours labor...

I suppose you dont HAVE to have air tools, but it wont be fun fighting the exhaust down...

You wouldnt want to change just 2 at a time, that would bepretty stupid.....

It wont change the ride at all.....

Hey, from earlier conversations with Joe in Scottsdale, I thought the rear subframe bushings were only available if you purchased the entire subframe. Can you verify?

Also, I understand that you have to purchase new rear lateral links/locating arms to ge new bushings. Would certainly be great if they were available separately.

My '90 Q45t has about 94,00 miles on it, but rubber parts disintegrate over time and I would like to replace them.

Thanks for any info...........John

Joe is correct. Nissan/infiniti does not make replacement subframe bushings form the factory. However there are many aftermarket ones, SPL sells some as well as energy suspension..

The bushings in all of the rear suspension links can be replaced too, nismo makes rubber bushings that can be pressed in.

Thanks for the info. I'll look into it. Wish I had that information when I had the rear halfshafts out!

BTW, did I read in a post somewhere that you have a Q with Hicas? If so, I want to run something by you.

Thanks.....John
