I don't care who pissed off who... Tino can have his own pitty party... but don't blame him for the decisions of others. This thread is littered with references to him....

Hrmm... not scared, just sick of him getting his panties all bunched up every time someone disagrees with him. Ah, it's not as important WHO is responsible... as much as WHY he did it.

yeah, we do.

..obviously this has had an impact on the members of this site...other than K...which proves K as a 'Valued' member, even if its not in writing under his name.

Please listen to Maine.

Tino had a nonspeaking, walk-on part in this whole matter, but he was not responsible for its outcome. He was an extra, and it could have been anyone else.

Well, almost anyone. One would have needed to own the big, pink bunny costume required by the role. Tino was wearing one anyway, so I used him.

I was demoted because of something I said. Period. While a compelling argument could be made that this was an excuse rather than a reason, that is neither here nor there.

In and of itself, my demotion would not have been significant. My personal opinion is that someone upstairs overreacted but, as they say, I wasn't the one holding the gun.

The manner in which I was demoted - no warning, no notice, and Daunttless being kept in the dark - is why my posts are gone. It was, quite simply, rude.

Yea, I know. Pot, kettle, black, blah blah blah.

This is a different kind of rude. It's the difference between calling a stranded friend a moron while you're driving him to a gas station, rather than heaving a beer bottle at him as you drive by.

It was rude to me, and it was exceptionally rude to Daunttless. So, I removed what I had contributed to the value of their enterprise, and to the usefulness of their community.

Life goes on. Buy an FSM.

just a quick observation after reading 8 pages of basically nothing...

due to the recent events involving k-car, i have to question the validity of the statement "we're all a community of friends." I have made 1 (ONE) good friend off this board. it also doesn't help me want to make more friends with this behind the back crap going on and people being kept in the dark because 1 person has a grudge or gets offended. i also dont like having to feel paranoid about anything i post for fear of getting banned, especially with said recent events. i realize k-car was very sarcastic at times especially to the billion redudant posts this whole forum gets. well i was at the point where i would only read some of the stupid questions just for his answers for a good laugh. now im to the point i dont even check these boards maybe once a week because nothing changes, there is nothing new here anymore, any competent person can search for all their answers by now. anyways, in my opinion this is a very stupid situation someone has created and nico is contradicting the whole value of their board as a community by demoting someone quietly for no apparent said reason.

I dont feel paranoid. Actually I dont care if someone delets my post or bans me. This is just a web site. A good informative site. But it is not my job or my life. It isn't anything that is going to cause me anguish if I dont have it. I would hope the rest of you feel the same way.

Nothing but a thing.

This is the scoop fellas:

It was me wo initiated on the moderator board a thread about kcar losing his mod status.'And we got alot of agreement.

I know we all kinda feel bad for him now butIt was a long time coming, he has abused other members made smart-*** remarks when other mods tried to do their job, used totally inappropiate language for a moderator, as well as being a bad influence on the geneneral atmosphere on this board.

Many of you that are bitterly complaining on this thread, have been on the board for a while and are unaffected in many ways by what he does.yes he has contributed a lot with his FAQ, and thats worth a lot.. but how many times did we see newbies join, only to be attacked by him ad never come back??

That isnt worth even a nice FAQ, because how many PPL missed out on our resources, cuz they were chased away?

Others have complained about him before, his very appoint ment as a mod was not w/o controversy and one of the conditions was he would change, not only did he not change but actually got worse in many ways.

This little tantrum of deleting his own contributions just because he stopped being a mod speaks for itself and shows we made the right descision.

And finally, yes, it wasnt suppsoed to go down as quick as this, Daunt was supposed to have been consulted, but a lot of other Mods and Admins,( some of whom had emailed with him about before, ) were clearly out of patience.

Fred....:(
