Wow, that's quite amazing...

Edit: They need to stop with that "eyelid" craze. Makes it look like an Accord.

Actually toyota has been making 1JZGTE powered sedans since 1990.

Behold the JZX81 chaser:

That rear wiper on the JZX81 just looks odd.

Nope, the closest thing we ever got to a Chaser is the 1989-92 toyota MX83 cressida, related to the JZX81 believe it or not. The Cressida is horrendously slow and power by the headgasket spewing 7m-ge. All the lexus boats are built on different platforms than the Chaser.

Very nice cars... they look kind of meaty (one of the reasons I like s14s and skylines... they look like they have a little meat on their bones)

Is that still coming out in "November"? I almost bought a $120 steering wheel for it a few months ago, but then I check and they had pushed the release date back again :(

November, bah, they'll keep pushing it back to build suspense...bastards

if they're smart they'd release it in november, sales would be better with x-mas on the way..

So, it's more than possible to buy an MX83 and drop in a 1jzgte or a 7m gte into it? Is there enough aftermarket support (suspension wise) for the MX83?

Well, the MX83 isnt very popular in the states, so supension stuff availible here is very limited. Good news is yes, both the 1JZ-GTE and 7M-GTE fit, even the 4.0 and 4.3 liter lexus V8 (not sure on how bolt in they are). None of the JZX81 body kits and stuff fit on the MX83 because it comes with special retarded bumpers and headlights just for america.

JZX81 = SexyMX83 = Overgrown RWD Camry

Yeah, those JZX100s are okay. Not fantastic, just OK. Not mind-blowing, just OK. Not UTTERLY BEAUTIFUL......just.....OK.

So yeah, that's cool, thanks for the pics. I'm going to go cream all over myself now.

................ :)

On a totally different note (not to hijack or anything): j-spec, didn't you register and post on Ricecopforums for like a week or something (almost a year ago, I think)? I think I remembered you posting because you were the only other person there with a 240...
