Own InfinitiJX experiencing transmission issues consistent with those cited in other forums. Jerky/shudder and inconsistent acceleration and breaking generating not just reliability, but serious safety concerns. I've explained the issue to my dealer who immediately acknowledged this as a known issue, but unwilling to take action to resolve it, (which would help restore my faith in the Infiniti brand). I was initially satisfied with my first luxury crossover, endorsing my buying decision with friends and family members, (resulting in two JX35 purchases within immediate family). Unfortunately it did not take long for me to experience directly and indirectly a long list defects involving seat ventilation, passenger light, roof rail seals, instrument cluster, and visor. The culmination and sticking point in my decision to stay with Infiniti is transmission failure. While I'd like to say this is an isolated incident, first hand experience has proven 2 of the 3 models purchased in our family have transmission issues. I want to give Infiniti the benefit of resolving this known issue which has safety and loss value implications. I'm hesitant to jump into filing an addition claim in the Nissan NorthAmerica Inc. class action on CVTs. Anyone else experiencing this issue? What are my options?
