Look at the post counts of most of the people here...300 is not a lot. Even 1- or 2000 isn't all that much. Not that postcount really matters...but you can't hit the top rank at 300 or there'd be no where to go after that.

And...hey...I'll laugh if the mods give you a custom name now "Wanna-be postwhore" or something.

5000 posts is hard even for the grandest of whores, much less for those of us who fall into the "moderate whore" category.

There have been several attempts lately to get custom titles. The Admins really don't have time to fix everybody up, only rare, special (or "special" - cough...) cases.

Everyone here strives to get a custom title... those with loftier ambitions strive to be mods... and the craziest of us plan on taking the torch from the old folks once they can't handle the internet anymore! Those dentures still fit, fogies?

I didn't know that the titles were handed out by hand. I figured I'd at least have "bolt-on turbo" or something by now.

I thought they updated automatically based on one's post count. This would explain why mine's been the same for so long.
