sonster I sent you a pic of the Volk GTF's in diamond cut and the blue inside color that matches your paint, did you get it, they were pretty sweet?

yeah I hear you, it was some sweet wheels though in the email. Here they are

And the JWT's, I mean I am not expecting the world from these things but I would like a little meaner growl. I figure after I add the Bassani Xhaust it will all work out. I am not looking for much more mods than that, maybe some volks and 1" drop. Dont know about the drop yet though.

From what I have seen on the net about $780 to $900 each. Depends on size.

I got the Nismo and said forget about it. Sounds nice and saves a little on the gas....as long as I don't romp around.

For me I think its just the intake sound messing with my head.

I'm looking at air intakes. Is the JWT pop charger the best bet to go with on the Z?

i'm sure it is on the Z32, so i assume it is on the Z33 as well. they're nissan specialists.

the butt dyno is notoriously inaccurate, and an air filter will only give you modest gains anyhow

why me?.... strangle someone who has them, i had one, and liked it completely. oh and i don't think there is a wrong way to install it sonsters. pretty basic. and i'm sure you didn't lose power down low you just don't see the gains down low... doesn't increase noticeable torque...

I don't see it hurting the low end on the VQ but yes it is possible, high reving engines like the toyota 4AGE has dampers in the intake to choke downt eh airflow down low and open up up top, the 240SX did the same thing

I've been looking at either a JWT Pop Charger or a Stillen High Flow for the 07 ... so obviously using a dual ... does anyone have any comments or suggestions?

The only reason I'm comparing the two is because Stillen is claiming 10 rwhp on their long tube version (6 on the short tube) and I'm finding 6 rwhp on the JWT as well. AEM is even claiming 10.2 hp.

Do you have any information to confirm or deny the company claims? I know companies will say anything to sell a product. But if I can get 10 vs. 6 hp ... I'll take the 10.

I was gonna get a Pop charger when i first got the car. I read a couple of reviews for it and found that some consumers found that, in some instances, the engine stalls during higher speed coasting (not that anyone would want to do that in the first place). And that the pop charger, even with the heat shield gets, a lot of hot air from the Z's engine.
