My 1st setup was the 370cc inj tune and according to jwt it would support 260 flywheel hp which equates to ~215 whp.... Although 370's have been proven to support 250 whp....I ran this setup no more than 10 psi and had zero problems and my wideband was ALWAYS rich..!! And i guesstimated about ~235 whp due to my turbo size, etc....

I then upgraded to the 615cc inj program and i dont recall how much flywheel hp they said it would support. But i think it was somewhere between 300-350 flywheel hp ( im not sure, so dont quote me )

I then went up to 15 psi and ran it for 6 months with no problems and the wideband was always in the low 10's... and this was guesstimated to be at ~300 whpAccording to several sources, on paper, the 615cc inj would support 404 whp. Now i know real world numbers will be different.

My question is, do u think their 615cc program will support 350-375 whp..??

ThanksRobert

for sure it will, if you are running a low 10's a/f you can boost quite a bit more and get your A/F to around a 11.5/1, probably around 19 psi or so. You are probably gonna need a safc or something to fine tune though.

Its been like that since day one. I have not messed with it and i figured that was playing safe on stock bottom end at 15 psi..!!

Used SAFC's are so damn cheap these days, you should probably pick one up. DO you have anything that retards timing for when you run over 1 bar?

Not really. Sending off for a cookie-cutter ecu is gunna give basically a base map off which to fine tune, not a tuned car.

I think he was referring to the fact that you commented about retarding timing. I have never heard of ANYONE retarding timing even FARTHER than the JWT ecu already does. I have mine ADVANCED 2 degrees over stock, which means it is 2 degrees advanced over the JWT tune.

615's are plenty, 550's are even fine to 400rwhp but its not the best thing to max them out for to long.

generally the jwt ecus drop timing to about 14-16 degrees total in full boost and ramps up to 17-19 degrees by redline

when i talked to ben, the said that with 615cc's we can support alittle over 500 crank hp.

If they are deatschwerks injectors, and your flow sheet says ANSE on it, then you can add 15-20% on top of their rated flow.

i know it is old post but runnin that rich is not really all that safe plus you loosing a lot power , i would get safc 2 and tuned to 11.7 to 1 this should be much better for power and safety too ( u don't won't to fuel wash off oil from cylinder walls ) if you still run this rich change your oil frequently

It is quite the old post, but might as well ad to the knowledge bank.

The proper fix here is to contact JWT and have him re-tune it. Chances are, the tune is set up for a higher (400+)HP, higher boost setup. The fact that he is running so rich is an indication that JWT was tuning for greater boost/ air flow. I'd bet his timing is also more retarded than it ought to be at lower power level. He might also be set up for a different MAF because the stock MAF only corrisponds to ~ 460cc injectors or 270HP. A proper tune involves both timing and fuel, you don't want to just change one and not the other. Small changes perhps, but 10:1 to 12:1 is huge.

I am getting ready to tune for my turbo wich will run 460cc injectors, stock MAF ~270HP. Because the KA is so rich and there is so much room to ad timing, I'm only planning on pulling a couple of degrees here and there.

Solution - raise boost untill your A/F falls in line or have it re-tuned.
