Hey I got the JWT cams and wouldl ike to get the JWT ECU. I waas wondering for the 500 extra revs would I need to get some aftermarket springs and retainers or will stock hold up fine? If I do, will the ones on ka24de.com work or should I go for the JWT ones (probably more $).

JWT tests all their stuff together- the cams springs and ecu- so you will get tru results, but any new higher performance reatiners will work, and springs for that matter- you aren't pushing 300 or more ponies are u?

no I'm not pushing 300 poines, 1/2 of that would be a good estimate. I know many NICOers are using JWT tuned ECUs paired with either PDM, JWT, or s13 cams and am wondering if you guys are using aftermarket springs/retainers. If the stockers will hold up fine, then I of course won't spend the extra $ for them.

thanks for your reply. are they "absolutely no doubt will be fine" or are they "probably will be fine." You understand that I don't want to take any risks, and I'm going to be up in those RPMs quite often because I'm in love w/ these cams, they feel so nice.
