JWT: does it retard Timing?? on the Ka24de-t

Hey, I just wanted to get a quick answer.. Does JWT .. program in timing retarding on their Ecu's ? Becuase I forgot to even look into getting a BTM or not... LOl

I read that they do retard the timing.. but just wanted to make sure... Cause that would save me a HeadAche

yes, JWT does. all u would have to do is set your base timing like stock and you are set.

Depending on the boost your running/turbo/intercooler efficiency/gas you're using, you can even advance the base timing due to JWT's notoriously conservative timing numbers...

I was running 22 deg btdc...2 degrees makes a huge difference. Just something to think about.
