I have a chance to get a set for a really great price. But my question is can these cams run with stock springs and retainers..when I searched online I got mixed answers, so I'm trying to find out before I buy them..any info would be greatly appreciated..I have a blacktop s13 sr

Me in personally, always upgrade springs with cams. Retainers are just to reduce weight rotational mass so is you don't have aftermarket retainers it won't hurt anything.

BC Valve Springs and retainers aren't that expensive... If you don't have the money for them right now, pick up the cams, and wait to get the springs and retainers... You can just put the cams away until then.. ;)
