yes, it does work--just not as straigtforward as the non-a.

the photo is of the d/s tower, showing the small clearance.

Thanks to Jeff and Keith for coming up with the plan to rotate the hydraulic line to increase the clearance.

NICO comes thru again!!

SWEEEEET!

I have been worrying about this for a few days. I am glad that you were abole to rotate that line, Jay. Great work! It looks like you would have to use vice grips to tighten the allen bolt, unless you were able to tighten it before you installed the bar. Once I have mine tight, it is fairly easy to remove and re-install it. I have done it about 80 times, so far.

Knowing that they can be installed on an active will make some other active owners happy. Good info.

Are there step-by-step instructions on how to rotate the line?Do I take anything off, or undo a certain nut/bolt?Sorry, I don't have mine yet, but just want to be prepared for when it arrives!

pull back the cap. the hold down bots for the line into the top of the actuator are in slots. loosen the bolts about 1 complete turn and you should be able to twist the whole thing while the bolts remain stationary. it didn't leak (maybe a drop or two) as that line is not hi pressure when car off.

i would wait and see what your clearance is before you do anything. yours might already be positioned ok.

I had a quick look, and i believe my passenger side one points directly to the other side of the car... which would be in the way...... the drivers side is ok though..

Jay, thanks for posting. May try this over the holiday weekend as my strut brace is still in it's FedX box in the garage. Do you notice much of a difference?

Tom, i noticed immediately. it's not that it cures all body roll. it's just the more 'solid' feeling tooling along.

I can walk you thru the install if you get stuck....or better yet bring it on over! you can test out the NICO ECU, too.
