Hey everyone, i did research on both of the two in dash entertainment systems for my coupe. The pioneer is a name brand and is quality, but from talking with people who have it it is hard to override the e-brake cut off switch so dvds can play while driving. The JVC has a better interface but the pioneer is a name brand. Im leaning towards the JVC, what do you think??

P.S. I hope thats specific enough..lol..

Problems with both.... Pioneer F series units take about 2 minutes to start up... seems like an eternity when you are in the car! F series have had a number of bugs that they may/may not have worked out

JVC.... if you're not an audiophile (which I'm guessing you're not since you're even considering the JVC) then go for it. Its an in dash dvd player.. no bells and whistles, and no big name to back it... you get what you pay for in the A/V world!

Doc will bring you a fish taco!

Sell the garmin, get a D3 and call it a day... Id feel awkward having a screen in my car, and a damn navi stuck to the windshield!

ill testify that the startup on the f(i got the 90bt) is a bit long but its weird cause some times its on instantly other times i take a minute the music kicks in about the time it takes me to get to the gate of my community and thats less then 500 feet from my house so i say about 20-30 seconds other then that all the bugs i heard about are non-existent(got worked out in the update) and depending on were you live the msn direct is great(miami is heavily covered so it always works) the ipod connection is great and the voice commands are cool but most of the time i just tap the playlist with my finger and the ablum art is a plus when people are in the car "o snap that luda's new cd"the resolution on the screen is really good as well the gps works well but im cuban so i just use it for reference to see were the major roads are(dont need f** directions) never actually inputed a direction except my house which i found nicely. tells me when im speeding to which is coolthe bluetooth works really good on mine but i got a iphone people have reported problems with other phones so i dont knowand for the price i paid 600 shipped with warranty from pioneer (bought it from an authorized seller not ebay" i cant complain
