ok cool, also how easy was the axxess steering wheel module to install? If you did it yourself. I just ordered a double din navi and the axxess module and plan on installing it myself.

Unfortunately the ASWC was one of the hardest parts of the install, just because the instructions were so confusing. I paid to have that part installed and he told me the same problems I was having with it, the online instructions list one set of wires, the included instructions list another set... but once it is hooked up correctly it programs itself and works great. you will probably end up trying several configurations before getting it to work.
Im in the same boat as RCBoy, Can you think you can help us out and tell us what Wires from the Axxess have to be hooked up, The White and Green, Blue and Gray? I know im digging up a old thread, however the question has never really been definitely answered here on this board or Nissan Club

Sorry that is the best I could tell from that mess of wires behind there. Maybe they changed the color schemes of the wires? I know the solid pink and the blue with pink stripes from the access module are both not connected to anything. That might be a pink wire with a blue stripe instead of gray, it's hard to tell from the picture and I used them as reference when writing these instructions, I should have written down something more specific I guess.

Jmann, I have the exact same thing and everything i just picked it up from crutchfield last week, it comes with a install manual and application chart. However from reading the manual the only has these wires
Pin 1 – Pink
Pin 2 – White/Green (Using for White/Blue)
Pin 3 – Orange/Green
Pin 4 – Green/Orange
Pin 5 – Gray/Red
Pin 6 – Black (Gorund)
Pin 7 – Blue/Pink
Pin 8 – Black/Green
Pin 9 – Red (Tip of 3.5mm connector)
Pin 10 – Whie (Ring of 3.5mm connector)
Pin 11 – Gray/Blue
Pin 12 – Red
I went ground and red obvi, then the white/green to goes to white/blue. the blue with gray notches goes to ground on the harness. Now which wire from those 7 remaining wires connects to the vehicle harness which is (White/Green)

Try the Gray/red wire, that is what it says to connect from the online instructions here: http://contentdocs.installernet.com/doc ... /10972.pdf
although my module did not have a wire that color. It has to be the one you will need to use...
T taped it all in and tried it, still no avail. I reset the system too, this time all it has done is turn the volume down to zero and then quit working and went into standby mode. If its not too much trouble can you be more specfic on the Pin placement on which wire it is on the AXXESS harness? This really would clear alot of things up for people who would want to be a DIY for steering wheel control guys like us who have aftermarket HU
Did you hold the volume up button per the instructions after you reset it? it sounds like you had it correctly hooked up if the volume started going down. Again, I'm not the one who installed this in my car so I'm afraid I've given you all the information I can, given the wire colors on my unit did not match the instructions I had or the wires on your unit.
White with Green Stripe (SWC) to Gray with Blue Stripe (Harness)
Gray with Red Stripe (SWC) to White with Green Stripe (Harness)
Blue with Black Stripe with Gray Notches (Harness) to Ground
And
12V to 12V Source
Ground to Ground
Aux Connector (From SWC) to the Wired Remote Input on the back of your Headunit
I'll check it out one more time and let you know what colors go in what pin numbers, but it will be later tonight before I can open it up and check this out.
**Edit - NVM I just saw your post...Sweet! glad I could help out a little!
