Picked up this running 90 hatch for 250$ back somewhere very early november 08. Had issues with the title for 4 months and finally got it on the road yesterday. So figured I'de show a timeline from when I got it to where it's at now.

Day I got it

picked up a megan exuast, hated it sold it, but you can see how nasty the body was

Started sanding and stripped the interior of the deadening

Started painting

Pulled the KA and resprayed the bay

Cleaned up the SR I newly bought and added some goodies

Bought some stuff and it was ready to go in

All done and registered finally

Yeah I love clean painted gutted interiors too and that's what I was originally gonna do, but then I picked up a s14 passanger seat and I had a lot of interior parts left over from my previous hatch so I threw most of it in. I'll probably gut it again during summer though.

And yeah it's just regular rustoleum primer. I actually used it so I could see any imperfections in the body, but then I started caring less halfway through and wanted to paint it another color, but I figured if I painted one side with the primer and the other without the primer the shades may come out differently so I just kept going with the gray. Don't know what I'm doing for paint yet. Need to save money for suspension and other stuff first

Looks good so far

Is that at least an epoxy primer? Not a good idea to roll around with rattle can primer for too long

It's just rustoleum automotive primer. Not sure if it's epoxy based.

Well I might just end up doing it flat black for the time being just so it looks a little better then gray primer. But I was considering doing a macco quick spray of gloss black. My friend got it done on his mustang and it actually came out pretty nice.Or maybe just pick up an air compressor and paint gun and spraying it?

Oh and yeah your cat is getting some use lol. Smells like rotten eggs sometimes though haha, thanks buddy

Do it yourself! Youve already done it all thus far..duplicolor sells a "paint shop" thats $25 can and requires no mixing or anything, pour & spray

Well I got into another argument with FRSport because I wouldnt take "we cant do anything" for an answer so they discussed it with Nissan and decided it was a "user error" because your supposed to use bolts on the oil drain tube. Since I used studs and the seating of those studs is what caused the break, I am responsible so Im getting it welded back on when Im home from LA for spring break.

Dont get lowering springs if you have blow struts, just replace the struts lol deal with 4x4 status til coils!
