just wondering
k, im new here, but ive been looking at these forums for awhile now. So everyone is dying to know how to get a skyline legalized *obviously* I want this topic to be a place where we can piece all the information on how it can actually be done. For a FACT is that motorex does NOT hold the right to be the only ones to sell skylines *yes I know they are out of the picture* Ive seen alot of people saying blah blah this blah blah that. That is something we people call MONOPOLIZING, which is illegal in the US. So it IS possible to find a way. Im just posting this topic hoping it can spark something up for alot of people out there.

Listen. Everything you need to know is already posted somewhere in this forum. Do what the rest of us do: go find out for yourself or read what we've posted when we went and found out for ourselves. There is already a thread just like this one stickied at the top.
Motorex has been out of business for years. Currently, only limited Skyline R33s are legal for importation, and to do that you must be a Federally Registered Importer and you must bring the vehicle into comformity with DOT, EPA, and NHTSA guidelines prior to the vehicle being issued a bond for release to the end-buyer. You can become an R.I. if you go through the process, but you must have connections who can do the modifications to bring the vehicle into compliance with a Federal spec the "formula" for which is propriatery information held by another company.
In short, good luck. And don't post that you've been looking at the forums for a while now when you haven't even searched for a very obvious topic that seems to be central to the post you created. You'll get flamed mercilessly and you'll deserve it.
