now this may sound dumb but im going to ask for myself and others that may or dont know. now there are some cross references to our motor and others, but what if a ,

alternator :

water pump:

power steering:

starter : :

were to go bad broke or just puked out what can be done or what can be used to replace them , i know there is a sticky for the ca and a parts list but what about these parts?

Several of those were covered in the ca parts interchange thread, and elsewhere...

Alternator: ka24e supposedly fits with modification

Water pump: Ca18et from 86 200sx turbo, or pulsar nx se ca18de pump if you aren't using the stock mechanical fan.

Power steering: As far as has been discussed, the ca18det is the only know direct fit... a few other maybe's but nothing else for sure - ka doesn't, sr doesn't.

Starter: Pulsar nx se ca18de (iirc)
