hey guys, i know i have seen this somewhere a while back but my searches come back empty handed, but am i the only one with a small *** oil filter? the oil filter from the pulsar is like 2 times as big.

WHOA!! a guy in iowa city with a CA 240! Im in iowa city too man, going to Iowa. I would love to see your car if it is at all possible. Anytime you have time man, it would be awesome if you stopped at Milio's on Highway 1 next to Fin and Feather. I work there and am there Mon-Fri 11-5.

Anyways to your question... pulsars use the same oil filter as they have the same engine. So if your filter is half the size, I would prolly go ahead and switch to the pulsar filter. and btw the sticky above has all the crossover parts from the USDM ca18de that can be used on the JDM ca18det.

thanks, not to sound like an *** but i already know everything you just told me .i ve had my ca for about a year now and did the swap so its not like im new to the CA i was just more wondering if anyone else had a small *** oil fiter problem because the usdm ca18de filter dosent work for me. i know i should reword my question but oh well.In regard to your other questions sure ill stop by tomorrow how does that sound?thanks and sorry for the confusiondo you drive a 240 too?

I use the OEM Nissan KA24E/DE filter, same part# as 300ZX and etc..

Cool man! I will look out for you. I am the delivery guy there so I will be in and out of the store. anytime after 2pm would be good cuz the deliveries die done around then, but come whenever you can.

Well as of right now my 240 has been sitting in my parents garage in des moines for about 2 years now. I bought a CA from boost boy here about 2 years ago also and haven't done anything with it, as I have barely any tools, my parents garage is crappy, and I really have no mechanical experience at all...i feel like i bit off more than I can chew...

currently I am driving a 03 Mitsubishi Montero for the winter and my 94 Mustang GT is in storage for the winter. the stang has recently become my autocross car and I am wanting to get my 91 240sx running with the CA in the spring. I want to have it ready for next season and get competitive with the veterans in the Street Mod class.

Wow, that is awesome man. I am planning on taking a week off in either the last week of february or the first week in march to try to get this thing going. If you are interested I might even pay you to help me out a bit. But i will definitaly talk to you more about this tomorrow if you are still going to stop by.
