I was thinking, I was going through Nissans Mexico site and found out they sell the X-Trail over there, im thinking way out of my head, but it'd be really unique to bring the X-Trail over the border and drop an SR20VET into it, 270hp turboed SUV, pretty cool idea. Not that itd ever happen, but itd be pretty cool. How people you know have an X-Trail, also, I say this for (im half mexican) i have to go to mexico for spring break, i really dont want to but i'll try to make the best of it. So i'll see if I can see one down there. So whatchall think? possible? stupid? anything. BTW, if i had the money I wouldnt consider this one bit, just for the sake of discussion

post a picture of what it looks like I have never heard of the vehicle. or a post a link to it for infomormation sake. It would really be based on its emissons system if you could bring it to the states.

They never sold it in the US therfor it will never be street legal here, unless you buy 4 or 5 for crash testing.

I also highly doubt they sell the turbo version in mexico, its limited to ~300 a year in japan.

No, hell no they dont sell the turbo version in mexico, in mexico its the QR25DE, 180 hp, 181lbs of torque. Ha, I guess if someone was serious about going off road they could establish something in the U.S. for the X-Trail, and become an RI or something.
