love the car, hate the pinstripe.. but dont worry mine has a pinstripe that I cant remove and it makes me cry every day. LOL

I should take the time to get my car that clean one of these days

P.S. a pro kit drop would really make that thing look evil...

JDRosenberg07...Do you think you could post a couple picks of a side profile. I love the wheels and want to see a better pic of them. Thanks.

you havnt read the pinstripe thread... unlike most people mine are painted on. they don't peel right off i'd have to repaint.

Actually, it depends... some dealerships paint them on, some are a vinyl strip. The vinyl ones peel right off.

my dude, what size wheels are those? What tire profile? Somehow, they actually look worse than the stock wheels/tires regarding the 4x4 look...

you need a drop ASAP!

I ask about the size profile because, if those are 19" wheels, and you run 245/35/19 tires, then that's about .6" smaller in diamter than stock, thus increaseing the size of that gap between your tires and the wheel well

if those are 18" wheel, and you;re running 225/40 18, then you're about 1.3" smaller than stock, increasing the gap even further...

just curious as to why the gap looks so large, even larger than the stock gap

***EDIT***

I just checked you mod page, and just as I thought, you are running 225/45/18, better than 225/40/18, but still about .4" smaller in diamter than stock. Thus you just increased the gap from stock by about .2 inches... every bit counts when it comes to the fugly gap on our cars dfrom stock....

in any case, if you want to fill up the wheel well more, even after the drop, I would suggest ging with 245/45/18... this will give you better traction (wider tires) and fill up the wheel well more. Of course this would probably be after you wear down these tires, but still, it asthetically, it would be more pleasing to the eyes!

They look like 18s but less tread than the stockers, hence the 4x4 look. I also think the quality of the image and the lack of light makes it look worse.

Definitely put on some springs, drop that sucker, and remove that god awful pinstripe.

I do like the look of the konig unknowns with black.

Yeah they are 18's and the overall size of the wheel and tire is almost exact to stock. It actually doesnt look as bad in person. It looks so bad because of the lack of lighting, grainy quality, and the angle of the shot. it was a lower angle which shows more gap.

I plan on gettin it dropped im just waitin for the cash flow. And I will be removing the pinstripe eventually...lol

Very clean but the rims/tires do look a tad bit small, offset must be over +45

What do you mean by this? the offset has nothing to do with the size of the rim, or its appearance unless you are talking aout how far it tucks under the wheel well... I don't understand you post D-Roll, also, very few wheels come with offsets over +45, most are 45 and below

ah...konig unknowns i believe. sweet rims. looks sick on black. i'm kind of a fan of the new 19 rims on the 3.5 theyre a huge improvement.

i had a pinstripe on my tc. it did a little thing that didnt make it straight. it curved up at the end behind the corner window, i liked it.

dealers add-on 7 dollar pinstripes and charge the customer 75 bucks. its just the way it is. thats why youll see some with and some without. and of course some people add them themselves.

I believe the pinstripe is a dealer installed option, so its pretty much up to them.
Kanard wrote:how did u get the residue off? dryer sheet?
Well i tried gettin it off with a claybar and that just wasnt working, and i ended up messin my car up a little and need to have the marks buffed out. They are mostly gone but it still bugs me.

You can use solvent to get the residue off but just be careful with how strong the solution is. i dont know if it could mess up the paint or not. I took mine to a place and the guy got everything off.
