Just wanted to share a ca I just finished swapping in.

Alright, I'm still happy that everything went so well after the car ran. Long story short, I got refered to someone by my friend to do a ca swap. I gladly accepted and started a ca swap. Funny thing about this swap is the car is an original 180sx that has a KA24DE swapped into it (ghetto rigged). So, got the dual out and with help from my good friend Rob, we removed the ca from a clip and I installed it into its new home. Btw, we got the clip from Venus and I only replaced the oil filter and fluids . Couple hours ago I had the ca running and did a couple test on her. Ill probably do a test drive tomorrow but hope you guys enjoy the pics and vid- I did. Another ca on the road makes me happy (hopefully the owner takes care of the engine). Note I did almost everything myself except for removing the ca from the front clip. Thanks goes to Rob. Thanks bro.

Lol, I dont know the details since I did the swap for someone. Another thing is that the car isnt even legalized and its been through 22 owners.

here ill tell the story since i know the guy:

the car was imported here a few years back as a parts car. it didnt run. so a few people from my school in fremont decided "hey lets put a KA into it and register it!". i dont know how they got away with driving on the road for so long, but hardly anybody registered it, and therefore it exchanged hands all over NORCAL. i was going to even trade my S13 for it, but another local decided to get it. they placed the KA in there for smog reasons, and hoped to legalize the car via CHP, DOT, and DMV. by then this kid was owner #22.

anyway, i was originally supposed to do the swap, but being swamped with other swaps, i decided to pass the swap onto the capable hands of mr zabala, the local CA guy. haha. anyway, it runs now. hooray!

Congrats! Good stuff but that 180sx and engine need new paint and a clean up. Its good seeing successful CA stories.
