just wanna know what everyone thinks about "THE CHIP"?

well i personaly got mixed feelings about this because,

people say its a quick fix with no ramifacations!

the other half says that it does nothing for gain and can actual hurt your car in big ways!

just need to know what everyone else thinks? see ive been thinking about picking up this chip on E-BAY and its an adjustable, the seller also got some wicked reviews so i was like yea! just wanna know the catch?

oh and can someone explain in detail how THE CHIP works!

What is THE CHIP called?

Most of them (like that Venom 400 PCM I wasted a couple hundred $ on) are all hype, you will get nothing out of them.

The real "CHIP" involves doing work directly in ecu.

For sohc, desolder 28 pin eprom>extract code>decipher>modify>burn>reinstall

For dohc, buy daughterboard>solder to ecu(20+pin)/set jumper>decipher>modify>burn>install (twin 28 chips)

cliff note: "CHIP" with anything less than 28 electrical connections required is bunk waste of time.
