if u get an sr20det.. and ur a moron like me.. could u still goto wherever u goto to get an oil change? or would u have to stop being lazy and go do it urself?joe

well you could, but I suppose if you had the technical know how to put in a motor you could change your own damned oil... :D

Just make sure to tell them that its a JDM motor so they can give you some of that JDM oil :)

Trust me, it's no problem. Just take it to Pep Boys. It's a 240SX. Take it there for everything, if your starter goes out, your alternator goes out, water pump, clutch, everything man.

They know what they're doing.

and make sure you bring plenty of cause they will not provide it for you! and youll need plenty when they are done with your arse !

If you have equiped your SR20DET with a turbo timer i suggest not taking it to a shop because when they turn it off, pull out the key and its still running they are gonna tell you all sorts of sh*t is wrong with your car. Or take it to a shop and laugh as they try to figure out why its still running.

and make sure you have an engine hoist, because you need to pull the motor to get to the oil filter

Is that why on all these websites i see them selling oil filter relocation kits?

man, i can change the oil in my CA with out even gettin under the car! i just take off the cap, then lean into the bay take of my drain plug, then filter, its all there acessable i barely even get dirty doin it!
