on our local forum http://www.trinituner.com there is a CA18DET pulled from a locally owned S13 200sx (same as your S13 240SX fastback) for $3750 TT or about $600 US at a conversion rate of about $6.2 TT to $1 US,

too bad it will cost about $500 US to get it to the states.

Quote »Engine from Nissan 180/200SX. Good condition, recently serviced eg new O2 sensor, new coils, iridium plugs, new clutch etc. Harness not cut at all. Original ECU for engine.

Engine was working fine and was removed for upgrade. Asking TT$3750.00 for everything.

Call (868)620-5094 for more info.[/quote]Classified advert on trinituner.com

everyone and their dog only wants SR's now so these engines are being pulled form the locally sold 200sx and sold for CHEAP, there is a engine w/ no manifolds, harness, g box etc that i am getting for spares for $100 US, hehe.

how much do you think it would cost to ship a head and block over?

good dealI got lucky with a whole motor, missing water pump, exhaust manifold (had a spare), and turbo (they're always blown anyway). Paid $100us. I knew the guy who owned the car, said "the head rattles at 2500rpm". Rod bearing, I suspected. #2 was copper. Otherwise motor in top shape, despite the (never changed) black slimey oil. This is the uk version... big port heads (ala DSM 1st gen), no butterfly throttle valves
