First off, I'd like to say hello to all forum members; I stumbled on this site while researching the Altima, and I have to say that I really enjoy what I've seen so far on here, with all the helpful topics regarding all issues with our vehicle.

Just thought I'd share a pic of my car with all of you.

I apologize in advance for not taking a better picture, and I hope I can contribute positively in the future to this awesome forum.

Man, love those eyebrows! Could you post some different pictures (different angles) of the eyebroms? I'd like to get a better perspective of how they look. THanks! Great color!

yeah, got these off ebay; in all honestly, they looked better unfinished. Once painted, you could see all the inperfections in the lids and they don't really conform that well to the housing. But, I don't regret the buy, just glad that I didn't have to pay to get them painted. To sum it up, good from afar, but far from good.

Also painted the upper and lower chrome pieces on the front grille, and had the emblem smoked to "simulate" black chrome. Painted the rear chrome piece as well...and had the tails smoked as well.

Other than those cosmetic changes and HIDs in the fogs, nothing has been done.

Just waiting patiently for a decent lowering kit to become available, preferably a Tein Flex system with EDFC (firm believer in the ride adjustability), so that I can slap on some new wheels/tires.

Zenki, let me guess, Palolo, Manoa, or Pauoa? I know you live in some valley, but I can't quite figure it out from your pics. I lived at the very top a Palolo for 7 years, and judging by the looks of the houses, I'd say you're somewhere around there. How close am I?

Honestly, good guesses, but final answer, Kalihi. LOL, You weren't that way off, cause there's no way anyone coulda guessed that by the way those pics look.

If I took a pic by the newest house on my block, you might have guessed Kahala cause my neighbor's house looks f'n pimp, hahahaha.

Thanks, I did what I can with the lack of aftermarkets accessories available.

Can never leave a car I own stock; always have to do some sort of modification to all my vehicles (was formerly in the aftermarket automotive industry for over 15 years, it's in my blood).

If all goes as planned, my car should look like this.

^ That looks like a very nice Altima. I'm personally not into cars that are "riced" to the extreme, but that looks like a nice balance of sportiness and still resembles the stock vehicle. Subtle, in a way.

hahaha, it's funny, I never really understood the term "rice". After all these years I was in the industry, I still don't.

Subtle and clean is definitely the goal, but it's almost a ying and yang thing; I want people that know about modifications to look at the car and be impressed, but I don't want to draw attention of those that don't.

In the past, I've ran the stickers, had the carbon hood, had the crazy wings on my previous cars, but with the Altima, none of that in my opinion will do it justice.

A good lowering kit to get rid of all that fender gap, a sporty set of 19" wheels (18" for me is too stock, an there is no 20" out there that I like or is in my budget), exhaust system and if it ever comes out, a line conforming/clean-looking front lip is all that I'd do and I'm done.

Excellent choices. Sounds perfect. Please do show us the finished product!

hahaha...ok ok....now I know. But all except the, I want to say red Benz, clearly defines "rice" for me.

The red car is pimp to me, only because I've been around that type of modding since the early 90s. That's straight O.G. VIP/bosozoku styling. I love that ish...even with them gigantor DTMed tailpipes, but I have yet to build a car to that extreme cause I don't think I could get away with that in Waikiki...lol.
