Right now these are sitting in my room, thought id show people what to expect pretty soon! I know the pics are crappy, its a $20 Jamcam, im getting a decent one at christmas! Im getting these rims for christmas so I cant put them on for a while. So in January im going to lower my car prolly with the KYB-AGX/Intrax combination. I wont put these rims on until I lower the car.

Quote »you still want my service for those springs and shocks[/quote] Ya, that would be sweet if u would help me. All the local shops will wayyy over charge me. I prolly wont drop my car until I can put my rims on in mid January (That will give me time to get money). When I buy the stuff, I will email u and just tell me how much u want and we can do this. Wes said he will help us also.

I cant wait till I get all this stuff done! I gotta get a new front bumper also, dented mine a while ago. Thanks for all the compliments!

you might want to leave your stock rims on there during the winter. no since in ruining the new ones so quickly! doesn't take long to swap out wheels anyway. you could probably do it your self with the cheeseball jack that comes with your car in a tad over a half an hour.

Brian, those wheels are going to look tight on your car, and once it's lowered, will look awesome.

I tolf Chris that I want to come over if you all do the suspension so I can observe and help out. I wanna see how it all gets put together.

i dont know about infiniti's, but my car, it was a huge pain in the arse to change out my springs/shocks. took 2 days, at about 4 hours each friggin day. but i would rather do that then be charged $400 (i called, that is what they would charge) to have them put on by someone else.

i seem to be getting faster with every car i do. i did the i30 (same as maxima) and that was the quickest yet. just took the afternoon and we're done!

yea i guess the more you do the better you get at it. i had no idea what i was doing, and cnichols hadn't done one is a while. he was trying to remember from when he put pro-kits on his car like 3 years ago. we also had a chiltons and nissan service manual thing to help us. and yet it still took FOREVER!

i don't know anything about the 240's suspension. do they have ball joints you have to pop out or something? that's just one of the things that made my J such a pain. In comparison the Maxima's are cake. A monkey could do the rear end. The front is more of a pain but i think that's just because it's a FWD and there's more parts in the way. And the rotors and everything else attached to the suspension there is HEAVY so you need a second person to hold that up for ya while you reinstall the new springs and struts.

Niiiiice dude, car's definetly on the right track. I don't know how you have patience to wait to install them though, whenever I have parts lying around my room I can't sleep untill they're on my car. Whoever knew crack makes you edgy?

Just be sure to bring it to our next meet...
