In GT5 Prologue that is. Awesome game, and to think that its just a taste of what GT5 will be.

Great for Nissan lovers, Nissan is featured by far the most in the game with over 7 vehicles including the Z33, V36 coupe and sedan (370GT and 350GT respectively) as well as the GTR Prototype and GT-R production version, as well as the Skyline Coupe Concept (what became the 370GT) as well as an R34. The coupe concept even has the cool blue overlays on the lights (I would still love to figure out how to do this!)

Beuatiful game, amazing graphics, and the cars handle wonderfully. If any of you guys have a PS3 I recommend you check it out. Even if you just hired it, it gives a good taste at what GT5 will be like. It also includes Ferrari for the first time in a GT game, which is pretty cool.

The other cool thing is that Polyphony (the studio that makes the game) also created all the HUD for the GTR, so the G-Force metre and other gauges are very similar to the ones used in the GTR.

Damn it, this means I need to buy a PS3? I'm tired of buying consoles!

Do you work on those games? (I think I remember that you are a game programmer or something like that).

I hate you. You should be banned for this type of behavior.

Sarcasm. But I'm still a little mad.

Dude! I know exactly what you mean! I played the demo of that game...and the GT-R was awesome! The gameplay is soo close to what I thought the car would be capable of in the first place after reading it's 0-60 times and the Ring track times. It is a blast to drive! The did a great job on that game.....from what I saw in the demo anyways

Its weird though, because I had been using the Skyline Coupe 370GT (G37) for awhile, and after using the Z33 (which is the closest thing to a G35 coupe in Prologue) I found it was actually a bit slower and alot harder to haul around the tracks compared to the Z33. The extra weight they've added to the G37 really makes you think if they've stuffed up a good thing.

Once I had finally earned enough dough I bought a red GTR. The power comes on instantly, but it didn't feel as fast as I was expecting, but im sure its as accurate as possible.

One cool thing i read online a bit back was the creator of Gran Turismo, Kazunori Yamauchi, who is an avid Nissan fan and race car driver, apparently drove the GTR around the game version of Nurburgring and got within 1/10th of a second the time posted on the real world track. The game is about as close to a simulator as you'll ever find, the amount of detail and accuracy is incredible.

I also forgot to mention, but there are 'GT Concept' cars in there as well, and one is a hot 370GT (G37). Its got the bodykit from the Tokyo Auto Saloon that was shown a few months back and the hood looks amazing with GTR style air dams. The G37 is much improved with a cool body kit.

And some nice pics;

I just saw the video of the first test on edmunds... man, what a crazy car...

Nissan is really setting the pace in the performance auto world.

Exciting times... now, if I can just dig up 70K...

Its apparently still well over a year away!

I just want dynamic time of day and weather effects! Oh, and car damage!
