I got a 93' s13 240sx and i need to know what has to be done to replace the Main fan so i can use electric. And i know there are millions of ways to mod your car, but can i get an idea on things to start upgrading first. Like a part list and good website to shop around at. I would like to make it a strait drift car

To convert to electric fans, you need to remove your clutch fan and fan shroud. After that pick up any electric fan, the flex a lite 220 dual electric fan set is a popular choice.

With electric fans you will need to do some extra wiring to turn on and off the fans. Your options are (from cheapest and least efficient to expensive and efficient):

1) Relay to a switched +12V - cheapest but puts a constant 20-40 amp drain on your alternator. I wouldn't do it just because its inefficient and you'll actually be worse off keeping the electric fans on all the time than using a stock OEM clutch fan.

2) Controller with external probe - works but you will need to shove that probe into the radiator fins. Not the most reliable or accurate method, but works.

3) Controller using OEM temp sensor. Most accurate and consistent method to control your fans. The DIF dual controller does that, or if you want to step it up a notch, the DIF variable speed controller draws as little power as required to keep your engine cool by varying the speed of the fans.

Other popular power mods are intake, exhaust, header and an underdrive crank pulley. Suspension mods usually start out with an LSD, a set of coilovers.

Good luck with your car!
