Well, I did like the Eibach springs at first because of the lowered appearance, but shortly after my struts blew out which was no fun. Most springs are going to be the same; I'm pretty sure Eibachs will drop the car a little more being at a ~2.2 inch drop. If I were you, save and buy coils, it's definitely one of the best investments I made.

It's going to be a good chunk of change. I will list all the parts out that I had to get

RB25 Motor and Trans - 2500
Mckinney Mounts - 480
Driveshaft - 345
Radiator (stock one had a leak, but would be a good idea to upgrade) - 300
Walbro fuel pump - 100
Downpipe/exhaust- varies
Plus Misc, battery, piping, other

Labor was just under 1000. But many shops charge different. It would have cost 2000 if I went to another shop that was closer to me, it all depends.

Power Steering and heat is hooked up. I decided I didn't want AC, but that was just my choice.

Right now I'm just trying to keep the car well maintained and not go to hard on the engine, it is my DD afterall. The interior is gutted and I am working on taking the sound deadening out. I'm gong to die the carpet the put it back in after that. I just ordered a Isis boost controller so I'm waiting for that to come in. I decided im going to stay with stock SMIC as I am not planning on upgrading the turbo. My power goals are ~280, which I can obtain by upping the boost. From there on out its full suspension work. I am planning on taking the car to Road Atlanta in the near future to see how well it preforms.

Some goodies came in yesterday. Isis boost controller and boost gauge. I'll be installing them by Friday. Can't wait!!! Also my friends Kyle's birthday is on Friday. I know this is a 180/200/240/Silvia forum, but Kyle owns a bad a** 93 RX-7 FD with an LS1. I'll post a picture or two of it.

And more of the ride..

Awesome, looks great! By the way, I was just wondering if you rub in the front with your 235's? I have 17x9 +15's in the fronts with 225's mounted on them, and they rub the fender liners. . . I have a quite a bit of caster in the front, and it still rubs on full lock.

I don't consider Isis to be knock off, there are no negative reviews that I know of and their products seem to be living up to expectations. It works just fine and does what I want it to do; also includes a turbo timer.
