Well, I received the title to my Probe today and just finished handing over the keys and signing everything off.

Picking up the S14 in about 3.5 hours. :D I'll have pics up tomorrow since it'll likely be too dark to get any this evening.

Damn excited. :D

Congratulations Summer!!!

ps: KS_Honda_Killer - TT rx7's are in no league with the ford probe, i'd regret selling the FD too :)

My RX-7 wasn't a TT.... It was a TurboII - one turbo. :) It was a non-running project car. The only "driving" of that one I did was steering it around while someone else was behind pushing it.

I have however done a good bit of driving in a modified TII so I know what they're capable of.

Still rather have the 240. :)

and since you were referring to me, now I'm confused, were you saying that a probe is better than a FD? I certainly hope not.....

Nope, i was commenting on your comment about possibly regretting selling your FD.

I was just saying if i had and FD and sold it, i'd regret it.

Well, I got the 240. :D Just enjoyed the drive home with it.

I get off work at 4:00 tomorrow whereupon I'm going to give it a good washing and wax it. It'll feel more like it's mine once I get my CDs and radar dectector in. :)

The only thing that bugs me is that I'm making payments to a private party, so he's telling me that I won't get the title - and thus no license plate - until it's payed off. I have 15 payments of $140 to make, so obviously it can take a year to pay off though I'm going to pay as quickly as possible. I find it really hard to believe that I can get away with a "tag applied for" tag for a year...hmmm..

Anyway, besides that, the car is outstanding. :D I'll have pics up tomorrow.

That's weird. People don't have any faith these days. It's not like you'd just run off with it. Good luck.

YES! Damn I hate probes, like those are the worst cars ever invented. Worse than cavaliers, sunfires, and the 80's CRX's. A big mug of beer goes out to stickgoat, for wiping his garage floor clean of the filthy Probe.Welcome to the boards, don't be afraid to ask questions you may think are stupid. It's the only way you learn.

She's (you said you were female once right?) been here for a little while, relatively active too, I think.

Yes, thank you. I'm female and I've been here about a month. :)

I don't see how one can think the Probe was the worst car ever invented... with that opinion I'd have to assume ninjak doesn't know much about them. They're an extremely capable, under-rated car. I'll have another someday. I was just tired of my automatic.

you had the atx one.... That thing sucks. The probe is underated and rather capable but the automatic is a peice, its like one of the worst autos made. did you own a klze(is that the japanese engine?) because those engines are fairly nice i had a friend w/ that swapped in.

You're right. The automatics in the Probes were complete pieces of ****. Mine started to act up around 85k miles which is completely ridiculous....luckily I saved it by putting in a quality ATF additive and installing an aftermarket transmission cooler.

I didn't have a KLZE but they are decent engines, yes. 200hp stock and stronger internals than the normal KL03. If I get another Probe and the 03 craps out I'd put a ZE in.

Hey Stickgoat. Congrats on getting the 240SX! I also have a 87 T2 that doesnt run. The only time i "drove" it was when it was being pushed. I am also selling the T2 so i can get another 240SX! What a coincidence!Tyler
