cant s*** hold me down

the day she died

the day I took elva(long story I'll fill in later) home

start of cleanup

huge dent I managed to push most of out by hand

proof white bunnies exist

slam ready

ok from here turned into a trash to get it road worthy and the other car ready to scrap(having a hard gd time), someone has called the stupid f***ing city of jax again and I have like 3 days left for it to vanish. They were both pretty much finished friday a week and 5 days of ownership, tons of rain slowed the progress but I managed to fight through my pain as I kinda like my home and the city was talking about taking it away ... so the pics are kinda fast forward.

more of the dent pushed out

85%done

I still need a pass light lid and the adjustment bucket, but I have a light and bulb as well as the motor and flip assembly.

SO some of you know I was in a crash and the person at fault lied, claiming my fault.... long story short I still have not received a friggin dime. I posted the tragedy on my local forum and the guys there swooped in and GAVE me a chassis with a clear title, hood, and light assemblies, I then bought a driveshaft and 2 fenders for 40 bux off another guy and the white bunny clutch setup, and misc. fluids and what not... Slapped it all together in under 2 weeks with little help.

history of the car;ELVA:owned by too many guys locally to count and has been cursed to sit in someones backyard, like she has done for 5+years. I dont believe in curses so I put her together and drive her

well guys lmk what you think I know it is not very pretty and far from complete but its what I have now and its mine.

Joshua

enough to total the car and f*** my back up ,more. It wasnt very fast but I had no chance to brake as the girl was flooring it to go in front of me.

that was my old car, the one in my sig, my first 240, that I've owned for 6 years almost. Its been through a ton of stuff... most of these older members know the deal.

thanks man, yeah the chassis that was donated was stripped down to nothing, only a few interior parts laying inside and stock suspension, the diff/axles were even gone but its mostly done now.

lol after actually doing a dash removal/install its not bad at all the seats being out helped a lot, I might pull it again to get the repairs fixed and hit it with some black, I noticed all the stock black isnt really black

I used to be terrified to remove a dash, as everyone said how much pita it is... it is not . lol none of its a pita when you have the city on your nuts.

Glad to see you got another project, think you've done a good job for the short time you've had the car I saw the original thread for when your car was wrecked. Sucks you still haven't settled things yet

all I can say on that last part is get full coverage...

thanks its not too much atm, but its getting better, my buddy came by and wet sand/buffed alot of it, hell one fender was completely faded and its now shiny and you can see yourself . I still have not found another light bucket or lid.

Update I am in compliance with city municipal code ftl, old car is being crushed probably as we speak...

its running weird as hell though, need to go over some wiring I guess.Possibly gonna pic up an afc for some monitoring/very minute tuning. My fmu does its job well.

FMU FTW, unless you boost spike like i did. Ran to lean and messed up the rings in cylinder 4. O well, guess im going forged when i get more money, just gotta limp around in it to go to work/school.

It was fun till it lasted though. I beat my bros ls turbo civic with a 60 trim makin 255 whp and 234wtq. Im going to go out on a limb and say i was at around 270whp because his car is 500 lbs light and i had two peeps in my car.

What are you boostin at?

well only getting around 5 atm cause my manifold is cracked to death from the crash, one day my w/g is gonna fall off lol

anywho I was doing 7~8 daily and turning it up to 12 on the weekend/playtime. On a walbro,afpr,7:1 disc fmu,5*pulled via dizzy, plx smafr for afr. Bout as cheap as you can get.

you must of had detonation, I was doing 11psi with just 5* pulled and IIRC 73psi base fuel pressure.

anywho got my bloody hands on an safcII today its installed, now I need to wire in my N60 maf on suck through probably, vta and dial it out with the afc, I want to pull a little fuel just before boost. I dont plan on using it to add much if anything, well maybe drop base fuel pressure then get her running off the afc so I can have a lower total fuel pressure at 12psi but thats a few days off still. Because the car is throwing a knock sensor code and yesterday it randomly tossed the old 21 for ignition signal

Thats why it's good to have a boost gauge It has saved me a couple of times from popping my motor. One of my wastegate lines blew and I was going all the way to like 13psi, when I was only running 8psi.
