I PS'd some wheels on my car. Keep in mind that the door handles will also be blacked out. Please say yes or no with a reason. If i get enuf yes's, then ill get them with my next paycheck. Keep in mind that the economy is bad so these the price range for wheels has really gone down for me. these are 18's, 23 pounds each wheel. Offsets- 35

If they were totally black with no red ring I would say 'yes' as I think they would match a blacked out car well. If your planning on getting them with the red ring I have to vote 'no'. The red just doesn't seem to fit the car - it throws the look off IMHO.

1- It makes you stand out to the police.

2- In my opinion it is a waste of money.

3- Do you have 6 months to one year living expenses in savings? If not time to start.

4- If you are earning money are you funding an IRA or 401k plan? If not time to start.

5 If you are still living at home are you paying rent to your parents?

I still lust for the new Z06 I saw back in 2001?? It was the first year for the Z06. It was BLACK with SMOKED rims! I prefer a smoked rim to a black rim...am I talking about black chrome??

Here's my take on your project here. The economy is down. Wait until you feel more confident in the economy and continue to save through this down turn, because it's definitely on your mind since you mentioned it. In the end, you'll feel more confident about buying new rims and you can get better rims as well.

i agree about the red stripe...i have the black 03 sedan with black wheels with polished alum...but i want to replace them with all black wheels...i think it will look a lot better...

Tell ya what.......I'll sell ya my stock coupe rims (shiny painted style) and put a clear black powdercoat over the existing painted surface. It will come out a dark clear gray and be alot stronger than just painted wheels.

Otherwise I say make up yer own mind on what you want. If you listen to what we (the collective) say, then WE are the ones designing your look for you.........then you won't have your taste or flair or whatever you want to call it....it will be our taste. DO YER OWN THING AND BE PROUD!! I don't have a clue as to what you have in yer head as the final outcome for your car. Were you gonna black out the handles and put a red stripe on them?? were you gonna go with a carbon fibre hood and trunk and put red stripes on them to match as well?? put a small red stripe around yer windows?? I can't see yer plan so I can't fairly say yes or no.
