my mechanic just replaced my springs -struts and is telling me that my ABS sensors are bad. It looks like they were damaged-worn out-a little bent.

It kinda looks like it got damaged while it was beiing removed.

now my ABS-TCS-CES lights are on. I had no problems prior to installing my new struts-springs.

can anyone give me some suggestions ? my mechanic is suggesting I replace both front sensors.

Is the mechanic offering to pay for them? It sounds like he tied to remove them when replacing the strut parts and damaged them then. If that's the case then he needs to pay.

ABS sensor never go bad, especially in pairs unless abused by the non qualified.............you get what you pay for is the old truth.

Infiniti gives each tech a diploma for each of the multi dozens of training schools they should attend............certified requires about 6 weeks of custom training above AASE training............why there are so few of them.....1-2 per dealership max.............the rest are just experienced [on other cars maybe] TRAINEES.

They are nearly impossiable to remove. Im sure he tried everything he could to get them out with no luck.

Just like O2 sensors you periodically use a lubricant/rust buster in anticipation of having to change [inserts] components every 4-5 years.

Part of preventative maintenance.

Think we have replaced about 10 sets and never had to replace an O2.

Same thing happened to me when I replaced my struts when I installed my Tein springs.
