I was wondering, when did you order your car? how long did it take to receive the VIN after ordering? I just got mine ordered this past saturday, and they told me i would receive the VIN this week, so we could negotiate the price and that it would be delivered by the end of this month. So you're saying you will receive the car a month from now? Man, i don't know if i could wait that long, if it takes that long i might have to buy that suzuki sx4

Well, we Factory ordered November 1st with everyhting we specifically wanted on and in our car. We didn't need a car right away and were willing to wait, which we believe has allowed us to obtain an excellent price However, the Versa, S's are now beginning to be coming off of the line at a faster rate. generally the VIN is stamped on a car when it is MADE. It takes about three weeks following this to recieve car.I don't know if I mentioned in my other notice that in addition to CVT, and Convienience Pkg. our car will have ABS.

Your dealer states that the price will be negotiated when you receive the VIN because for you (He), the car will be all put together with whatever PKG. either the factory wanted or the dealer asked for. Therefore you are getting a car someone else is customizing for you. That hurts on your negotiations and being satisfied with your car. We negotiated first, told them exactly what we wanted and stated any extras they would pay for because we would not pay for them (including mats and splash guards WHICH ARE OPTIONAL). Mats are outrageous price. As I have stated before, one could go on a very nice trip, even fly in an airplane to various locations for the price of the mats. Therefore, we KNEW the price of the car so we could plan our insurance before purchasing the car. It is definitely well worth the wait. Time goes by extremely fast, unless you need a car now. Hope this has been of help.

Actually the versa that was ordered was customized by myself, and the dealer called me today and had an estimated ETA of Feb. 16. Can't wait to get it.
