so whats up guys, this is a tight site goodwork to the creaters and peace to all the users, but anayways iv only been actual drifting for about a month(front wheel ebrake slides and bs few times pryer to my 240) first question is if i get an open diff or lsd if im write i think it would actually make it way easyer and help advance my level, obvously i know practice and time but i started off doing ebrake slides into 2nd gear power overs to start than my rear brakes went, wich turned out to be a very good thing cause it really tought me alot and im not great and this is not the post for tips but i think forcing urself to never use the e brake when u first start will make u learn alot fast. and is it comon to learn/ have drifts around left hand corners easyer? combination of no lsd and that wheel spins as well as it feels more natural. and when u slide using the clutch to initiate the drift is it inteded for any perticular style of corner? sharp and small? longe and wide ? into a different style drift power over around and s turn? i am workingon it but if i knew what kind of corner it is generally used in than i could catch on a lot quicker. or maybe it can be used for a variety? i newebie but im real dedicated and serouse about it i go out bymyself for hours at night and just practice try out new things. sorry for all the babble any help or suggestions is appreciated p.s. any ohio boys more specific northeastern if possible? peace

good post, practice on the spelling and the grammar though, sometimes it was hard to read. i dont think ebrake means that you are any worse than without it, its a good place to start and its where i started. It makes it easier to get used to the car sliding out without using power, so its savable and relatively safe compared to using the gas as your means of sliding, which is much harder to save or control when you first start. keep using the ebrake to start, when you feel that you are using to sliding around, use a different technique like clutch kick or feint. there really isn't any one technique that i find works better on any one corner, but i havent tried any real long high speed ones, so someone else might have a different view if there is a difference then. i dont know what you said about lsd, but you need it. period. whatever anyone says, you can't be at any higher level of drifting and consistantly control all types of drifts and initiate at any variety of corners without it.

Ebraking is good at low speeds, but even better at high speeds. Thats how you create stupid angles at 75-100 mph. Either that or manji it.
