I finally got the nitrous hooked up after a week of waiting. I have a NX Stage 1 kit. Picked it up for a great deal $475.00 at suprastore.com.

The reason I had to wait a week was I broke off the adapter fitting that goes inbetween the Nitrous feed line to the shark nozzle. BEWARE, those things are weak. Use caution when tightening. I was able to drill the adaptor out of the nozzle and "easy-out" the rest. So I didn't have to buy a whole new nozzle. Thank the Lord.

Nitrous and boost...it's a beautiful thing.

I'm surprised more people here don't run it.

most people are scared But I do understand why, if your cars not running right/LEAN and you shoot a lil nitrous into it you're going to have to rebuild your bottom end. Most people cant do it themselves and it cost a lot of $$$ to pay somebody. But I love it

Nice, I'd like to run a small shot on my GTiR turbo someday. Did you make any timing adjustments? Also, isn;t the bottle supposed to be titled down?

Nah, I left timing as is. The bottle is supposed to be like that, because there is a small siphon tube that runs from the valve to the bottom of the bottle.

Running a wet kit I wouldn't recommend it. I dont think you want to inject fuel into you intercooler.

Now if its a dry kit, more power to ya. But then again dry kits aren't really safe for our fuel set ups. Unless you have something to compensate for the added nitrous.

Oh yeah, spray nitrous on your intercooler to chill it.

nope you wouldnt have to retard timing, your motor will just recieve lower air temperatures, densining the air and producing more hp due to a better burning mix. Your motor actually does not take in any N20 because its getting sprayed along the outside to cool it off. I have a friend that uses this setup on his single turbo supra producing great results.

So timing and fuel may remain the same, if anything you may advance timng a degree or two more safely because the cooler the mixture the less of a chance of detonation

so does using the N2O to cool your IC instead of injecting it into your engine produce the same type of power in a safer manner?
