i got one pass in and they said i needed a helmet so i will have to wait till next time to see what it will do. rt .35 , 60' 2.10, 330' 5.75, 1/8 8.70, mph 83.0, 1000' 11.18, 1/4 13.33@107. first and second gear was a waste with the 225/50/15 avs es100 on stock teardrop wheels. i am going to wait on a fresh turbo before i go to the track again but i will also get some new tires , probally bfg 235/60/15 drag radials. this is on 15 psi tuned really rough bobbing in the 10:1's from 5k and up.

I will say it again, from my experience, I will not knock it until I try it. I have never seen one fail. Most of us haven't. We are all relating it to some story someone had with a ZY Turbo. I would run one. My suggestion to you is go big or go home, how about the Master Power T70/T3? That big enough for ya?

my opinion on the xs power turbos is they are good as long as you take care of it. my turbo was abused for about a year i drove with it in 0 degree weather and ran lean with it. what killed it was spiking to 20+psi due to my old wastegate dump which had too much restriction but i made my own and it works very well. i say it lasted long enough for 250 bucks and i wouldnt mind getting a new one every year or so for the price.

Did you buy one of the full blown ebay kits?

no, just the turbo . the rest was fabricated by me and i bought a gladman manifold and a boost designs w/g kit when i first started putting it together. theres lots of parts on ebay you can use to make homemade downpipes and i/c pipes. the best thing to use for a d/p s an exhaust off an escalade or ykon denali the rear section is 3" and has very sexy bends already in it. ebay has the best deals as far as bolt on stuff.

KATwo40 is running their mani, as will I shortly enough. I also have the IC, and it seems reasonable for what I paid. I have heard too many first hand accounts on WG probs, and since they will not verify the material of the diaphragm (not Nomex), I wouldn't trust it. If a turbo ****s out, what ev. If the WG fails you're ****ed.
