This isnt a write up just some pictures from when I did it yesterday. I used someones write up on it and it was pretty helpful. It aint bad for 25 dollars haha. Now if my car would just run right . But again not really directions or steps.and I didnt take a picture of every step. just some pictures.

Image

thats my regular shifter before I started

Image

Theres the v1 kit I bought

Image

just the knob off

Image

shift boot off

Image

upper dust boot off and the metal retainer ( mine is warped as hell and after i finished i only could get 3 screws in the thing )

Image

shifter out ( forgot to take some pictures for that )

Image

This is the washer that came out and when it came out it was warped also and i had to straighted it out .

Image

this is it with the first part of the new shifter in and with that gay platform with the four screws which were hell to put on. ( around this time my friends came over so I again kept forgetting to take pictures )

Image

top of new shifter in and the bottom dust boot

Image

picture from side with the top boot on ( this was seriously an hour after the last picture, those four screw on the retainer plate were awful to me )

Image

shift boot on and uncracked dash lol

Image

Finished product. It shifts great but my car is running like s*** right now so I dont even get to go have some fun with it.I forgot to say about the retainer clips and taking some other little things out . But I think overall its a good product and I had full intentions of doing a solid write up but my friends and coors light wouldnt let me. But this is just some pictures and my experience with the whole thing. please dont flame me. hope you enjoy it.

Sweet man. I just put the Isis in my car not too long ago. Wondering how to get the actual shifter to be shorter.... The throw is nice though

That washer is supposed to be wavy like that.

Short throws are nice.

That is all.

I just put a B&M shifter in my S14 after an engine/transmission rebuild. Huge difference from my old worn out shifter, I could barely tell that the car was in gear and thought I didn't put something back together right. :gapteeth: Takes some getting used to, but love it so far.

My friend and I had a similar situation in his integra. I almost went to crawl back under the car to see what was wrong after moving the shifter and then I realized it just had super short throws.

Cut it and use a die to thread it.
