Very nice! What brand/model are those?

Were any modifications required in order for them to fit?Do they rub at all? What tires are those? How much did it change the feel of the ride?

Thank you i couldent be happier with them. the rims are a voodoo 408 there were actualy no modifications to get them to fit and the offset looks realy good. They run a 265/35/r22 hankook and they actualy do not rub at all which is huge because i have had rims that rub when i turned to far, that it sucks big time. the ride has changed a bit though the power is still there and the transmission doesent seem to have a problem but the bumps are more noticible but i tend to swerve them as much as possible and in the rain i was surprised how well it sticks to the road they are brand new tires though so i will have to see how they wear

The only downside seems to be the braking it has added alot of distance to the stoping distance. Which i am looking into. on that note does anyone have any info regarding brake upgrades maybe a rear disc convertion if thats possible?

Anyways though thank you for the compliments and i will continue to post pics as i work on it i hope to be starting on a fiberglass sub box soon

yeah your rims alone probably weigh like 70lbs, try http://www.jrponline.ca or com canadian company they got some ebc cross drill and slotted rotors also brake pads the should do the job, do the front before u start worry about the back the back only does about 25% of the the braking could be wrong though but somewhere around there

if you want to go cheaper go to partsource and get the frenco rotors and $$$ costing satisfied pads, i have them on my sedan with no complaints not sure if the rotors r fully up to the job though

You wanna read something funny?

well I'll tell you anyway! haha

We purchased a 2003 pathfinder LE, it had those EXACT wheels on it, but as part of the deal, I had them put the stock wheels back on because I though those wheels were just horrible for that truck. the handling and ride was just attrocious. I was SURE my wife was going to flip it because the tires had WAY to much grip.

I'm sure you have your opinions about me now, but I didn't mean to be rude, though it probably sounds a bit like I was.

So, I hope you enjoy them, they do LOOK good.

Yeah the stock wheels are definitely lighter and make the R50 more agile. Heavier wheels will increase braking distance (tremendously) and also give slower acceleration. It's the trade off between stock and pimpin. You gotta give some things up to have other things. The same goes for offroad rims and tires. I had some 32" BFG AT's and I couldn't lock the wheels up if my life depended on it. I even got into an accident when my QX4 did not brake in time - it didn't even lock any of the wheels up, nor did the ABS engage. The fact is that I would have avoided the accident if I had stock tires... even my current mud tires, slightly larger than stock, still lock up....

My advice to anyone with larger wheels / tires, just drive more carefully. This isn't a compact car (my girl drives my QX4 like its a Honda Accord). You need to have foresight when driving. You need to always be looking ahead and planning your moves... make sure you have room to stop if anything were to pop out into the road....

i agree 100 percent if i wanted better handling or braking i made a terrible choice but at the same time its a sacrifice im willing to make and like fueler said you just have to understand that you cant stop like one of the other vehicles and knowing that you should be ok i am looking into slotted rotors and diferent pads though

I dont know how you did it! I have a set of 20's that rub! My tires are 275/45, could that be the cause? A friend of mine put 22's on her qx4 and she ended up warping one of them, its tough having a big rim and no tire in new england. we suck with road work!

not bad not bad. . . I think the R50 works with big chrome wheels. . I'm more into taking it through mud and trashing it, but my dream would be to have nice wheels for daily and some steelies with M/Ts I can throw on for fun.
