This website is awesome. Thanks to you I have repaired most of the problems with my J-30. Stereo antenna, inoperative dash lights....Thank you. Unfortunatley I ran into a couple of problems that have me scratching my head. ....Just recently my hazard lights stopped working...and my turn signal lights were intermittant now they just dont work at all. I have checked the fuses inside the vehicle drivers side lower left interior by the parking brake. They checked good. All bulbs checked good. I called up a local infiniti dealership and they faxed me a wiring diagram....This was no help It was a schematic for all of the lights and it was in Japanese...Does anyone have any ideas or know where to look?Is there a flasher unit? Switch? Relay? If so where on the vehicle is it located?...Please help...Also My factory stereo has the typical 93 J-30 gremlins..So I found and purchased a stereo from a 97 J-30. But I found out after I removed the old one it has a diferent type of connection than the new errr 97 J-30 unit. Anyone have info on where I can get an adapter from a 93 to a 97. Thanks

Check your hazard button...I have the whole a/c control unit out to repair my Bose HU now and noticed that I lost my turn signals without that unit in.

Also, shoot me an e-mail...I can help you out with your HU. I am up in Dallas, but go down to SA at least once a month.

There is a connecting wire to the piece that holds the socket twist connector for the turn signal bulbs. Over time time this wire frays and detriotates internally, it very common (at least in the ones up here). Disconnect that wire from the socket and take it to an Infiniti dealer with an autobody shop, for whatever reason the part is not available through any dealer parts counter. The local Infiniti dealer here (with an autobody shop) gave me new connectors and new wires for free. I recoonected everything and everything works perfectly.

The stereo conversion harness you need is located at this link: http://www.courtesyparts.com/M...IN-03

It will let you put a 94+ unit in a 93. I know..I did the same thing..works like a beaut..

Start digging into the relay system for the lights if the switche(s) work fine. The hazard switch is indeed a possible culprit..you do need it in place for the lights to work..along with the rheostat style dimmer switch. The dimmer switch has cold solders on it with age/wear and resoldering it will fix dimming/lighting issues. I would check both of them to make sure. .. Post back with results..

Thanks Guys, I have the stereo harness adapter on order. I checked the sockets at each signal light they all checked good. I am assuming its the hazard switch/button. I am going to see if I can find one locally if not I will order one. Hope it fixes it ...Thanks
