Just purchased 18" maxima rims, whats max tire size?

So I have a standard 2015 2nd generation AWD Rogue. It came with 17" wheels. I want to put on a bull nose but do not want to loose my clearance. I figured if I increase the rim size I will not loose as much. What is the largest sidewall that will not rub on turns? I was looking at my friends Rogue who has the factory 18s and he has 245/45/18 but they seem like they are a little small.

Interesting. According to TireRack, my 2014 Rogue SL has 225/60/18 size as OEM.
Which would make the sidewall height of 135mm. (looks like your buddy put quite small tire, wonder whether he adjusted his speedometer other things... I THINK that has to be done)

You will have to calculate depending on the width of the Maxima rims...

I guess if you have very wide rim, you may have to lessen the sidewall height.
