Interesting how different it is from mine.

Shifts velvety smooth, where mine is a little harsh, and hesitant - probably the $1,900 rebuild, with 100K on it.

Rides like a boat! Scary @ 80 MPH. Good thing there are a set of Tokiko Blues in the trunk. Upper links, bushings, and dust boots, and it shoud handle like mine.

A little slower off the line, but has the same pull, when the pistons get moving.

The steering has a lot less assist, at lower speeds. It has had some lines replaced, and the shop said one line was still leaking. I will do a flush, and see what the fluid looks like.

The brakes are a little mushier, but it does not have the SS braided lines, or DOT4 fluid, like my silver one does.

A little fresh paint on the bumpers, and some paintless dent removal, and this car will be awesome!

I got 2 keys, 2 remotes, and 2 valet keys. All the books, and records.

Anthony uses Amsoil. I had them change it. Ouch $166! I'm glad it is good for another 25,000 miles or more. I got the addres, to send the oil samples to. It will be different, but I am game. It has been on Amsoil, for the last 8 years.

The antenna lowers all the way, in the first try!

The "BBS" Infinity wheels are chrome plated. I wonder if this was a dealer thing. the plating is amazing, and definitely has a lot of miles on it.

Discount Tire replaced one of the Yokohama tires free, under warranty. It was starting to separate. I am going to see if they will replace the others, if I can find a store.

It has a hands-free Nokia phone kit. Too bad I just upgraded to a Motorolla, 2 weeks ago.

Anyway. 2,3000 more miles, and thid baby will be at her new home.

Evie christened her "Lola" I like it. I will ahve some pics, whe I get her home, and get her cleaned up.

Funny thing, my mom is driving the silver one, while I am out of town. She called from some lady's cell phone: "How do I get the key out?". Can you say "Blondstar?"

Amsoil has a good reputation among synthetic oils, along with Redline and Mobil1,but going 25,000 miles on an oil change is nuts! I have used Mobil 1 for the first 100,000 miles at 5,000 mile changes and Redline for the last 42,000 miles at 6000-6500 mile changes{ every 90 days or less, since new} and would never consider that long of a drain interval, even with these top teir oils. How did they charge you so much for that oil change,as all three oils mentioned are priced at 8.00 per quart or less?

The interesting thing about oil, is that, as long as it has not broken down, it is still useful. That is what the oil samples are for. In chillers, we suggest owners get an oil sample tested each year.

Automotive oils are the same. If you want to know what condition your engine, transmission, and rearend are in, send off a sample of the oil, to be tested.

I am not completely sold on synthetic oils, but it will be interesting, since this car has been using it for so long.

The filter changes are done like clockwork, just like organic oils.

Actually, the bill was for the 7,500 mile service. I asked him to have this done, before I drove it across the country.

The oil was $45.31, and the filter was $15,21, with a waste disposal fee of $2.75. Sorry for the mistake. The rest was labor, for the service check.

That was a good idea, but I didn't think of it until I was on the airplane.

I usually just tuck in behind someone else running a little fast, and use him as a shield.

Besides, without new struts, this car is a little dangerous at high speeds. I am spoiled, from driving the silver car, with 17" wheels, new "blues", bushings, and tension rods!

IIRC, Jeff specifically wanted a Silver or Black I think IPQ may have been his 3rd choice??

Sorry, Wes.

Gave $4,500.00 Got a new set of Yokohama tires, from warranty, which was cool! The Tokiko Blues are in boxes, in the trunk. New fuel filter, fuel pump, controller, plugs, and alot other stuff, that I haven't looked at, yet. I have all the records, from the day he bought it, from Frontier Infiniti, in 1997.

Tony took great care of the car.

Touring, Black (Silver was my first choice, but Black was #2, followed by IPQ).

HEY, I saw a new Nissan van, customized, with the Katzkin leater, and it was PHENOMINAL! The guy that put the Corvette engine and transmission in my uncle's 56 Buick Roadmaster, did some customizations on a Maxima and a new van, for Nissan. He takes it to shows. They are Silver/Black. Sweet looking. He also was commissioned by Chrysler, to do a suicide door conversion, on 10 300C's.

Uncle Wade took me to a guy that does great custom work, and had some cool cars in his shop. Boy was I suprised, when we pulled into Boyd Coddington's shop. Boyd's a lot more laid back, in person, than on TV. I got an autographed cap. Turns out, he worked for the same company my uncle did, about 40 years ago.

I am in Albuquerque, NM, tonight. Spent the day driving across AZhitman's state. Quite a lovely drive.
