I know the history on the car but it would make me feel better to have a tech take a look at it as well, I was thinking of doing a 30K milage service along with trans, rad, and diff flush along with a fuel system clean. what else should I get checked out? I really just want it for my own peice of mind. Its super clean and doesn't have any unusual sounds but I guess I just want to know its a-ok on the mechanical side of things. Also whats the popular lowering springs for these things since the eibachs are gone? Oh its a black on black loaded 2004, will post some pics as soon as I get some new wheels.
There is a pretty healthy list of things that need to be done at 30k. Get it done, but first go to your nearest dealer to see what has been done prior to your purchase.
this looks accurate:
Rotate and balance tiresScope and adjust (wtf is this?)Inspect suspension for leaks. Inspect engine for leaksReplace air filterCheck tire pressureInspect drive beltsInspect vapor linesInspect fuel linesReplace engine coolantInspect exhaust systemInspect brake lines and cables. Inspect brake pads and discsService batteryDifferential oil serviceCheck operation of lightsFill fluids as neccessaryReplace wiper insertsClean and adjust brakes
some of this can be done on your own.
