Just picked up my '09 A/C !!

I ordered it in June - they said 8 weeks for delivery. 8 weeks it was! (+2 days)3.5 SE 6 Speed manny+Premium+Tech

I got the phone call at lunchtime today - I hardly got anything done all afternoon!

I stopped on the way home and took a few quick pictures. Just lovin' it so far!

I'll get more pics up tomorrow - I was running out of daylight today. Had to get home and call State Farm before I go out for a (long) drive.

The dealer (Jim M'Lady in Crystal Lake, IL) said it was their first (and only) '09 Altima. I was kind of nervous about how long I'd have to wait after reading some of the posts here over the last two months. I guess Nissan can get your car built if they want to! Maybe my timing was just right. Tuesday was my birthday, so I got a nice present from Nissan...

I think that the 18" rims and the Michelins are the only visible changes. The ride is much better than the two '08's I drove for test drives. (I drove a 6 speed and a CVT in June.)

The shifting feels smoother than the '08 I drove at the dealer - that may be an improvement or it may be because the '08 had 150 miles of people doing God knows what to it on test drives. Mine had 6 miles on it when I picked it up.

The doors auto-lock at about 20 MPH - I don't remember the '08's doing that.

Other than that, I think it's pretty much the same. I'll get some pics of the interior and under the hood up tomorrow and you guys can see if anything is different.

i think your first order of business should be to take that damn dealer sticker off. it looks exactly like mine...it was jus about as big as the Altima badge. I just was able to use my fingernails and some nail polish remover to get the residue off FYI.

Congrats with the 3.5SE! Now that I've seen the '09, I prefer the '08 OEM Wheels. I'm guess they didn't change the Interior, what about the Leather/does it look or feel better like the '09 Maxima?
