Just picked up my 01, and have a few ???'s

Hello all I am new to the pathfinder, just got an 01' SE with 100k, but not new to nissans, coming over from my 96 maxima this was an easy transition. I do have a few questions, I am familiar with the VQ engines and have been reading on your site about the intake bolts coming loose and getting sucked into the engine, I have downloaded the service manual and cannot figure out which bolts they are because I would atleast like to give them a quick check out. If anyone could give me a quick explaination on this or any thing else thatI sould look for that would be great.

Look up swirl control valves located in the intake manifold...should b six of them

So one in each intake runner I assume then, is it the screws that hold them in place or do i need to remove them and check the part that sit inside the manifold? I need to go out and look at this enigine some more.

one easy thing u can do that u will appreciate is changing the in-cabin air filter (for your heater and AC) it will be disgusting at 100k miles if its never been changed (it probably hasnt) its located behind your glove box. The filter should be around $35 from a dealership
