Sup foos. My name is Tom from St. Charles, MO and I just purchased a 2011 1.8S hatch with the 4-speed auto. Price (right at $13k out the door, tough to beat for a new, non-crappy car), gas prices and reliability drove my purchase. I've been daily driving a 2002 Camaro Z28 for nearly 8 years now, so it has 213k miles on it and is not too reliable. Not very fuel efficient either, which is an issue when you drive about 80 miles a day. So it's going to be parked most of the time leaking oil and trans fluid into the pavement while I flog the Versa and hopefully reap the MPG benefits. This car reminds me a lot of my 1998 Neon, even smells the same when new.
I'm not going to lie, I prefer driving the Camaro over the Versa a great deal. Having less than 350 hp under my right foot is going to be a mental and emotional adjustment because of how long and how many miles I've driven my strong and trusty (used to be trusty, anyway) F-bomb. But Nissan has given us a quality, affordable product and I'm glad we have it. Represent! :bigthumb:
BTW I know that my screen name looks very out of place here, but it's the same screen name I've been using on several other forums since 2003 so I'm just going to stick with it. ;)

Welcome to NICO! :wavey: Congrats on the Versa! 80 miles a day will be a lot easier on the wallet in the Versa vs. the Camaro. One of our members has a Versa with over 200K miles!

Welcome to Nico and to the Versa world :D

My Versa turns 3 in one week (time sure does fly), and I love the car as much as I did when I bought it.
She still looks brand new, and has had no major issues (Fuel Pressure Regulator was replaced, but it should be fixed for the newer models).

Post up some pics of your Versa when you can !!

Welcome. Its not easy to drive a Versa when your used to a V8. I don't drive my versa a whole lot, so when I do, I miss having the torque of an 8.1 litre V8. I guess you get used to it eventually.
