I need some direction. looking for a bacic set up around 200-250 horse power. try to keep it about stock boost levels.

This project will take some time to complete and I want to plan everything well before I start.

Looking at the size and position of the turbo I feel that a bottom mount manifold would fit the best but I am not sure? I have checked out jgstools.com.

Second, are sr 370cc injectors a proper choice as far as injectors?

I guess that is it for now, I will have plenty of questions later. Thanks for the help .

I'm a n00b for the most part, so I can't answer your question. But you have the same turbo as me. I'm using a .63 turbine housing, and the z31 compressor housing. I bought rb25det injectors to use, and also an safc. From everything I've read 370's should be okay for what you're doing, but confirm it with somebody more knowledgeable. I'm using a FMAX manifold, it's log style, sort of like jgs. Once it's mounted I'll have to move my power steering resovoir, and some emissions stuff that i want to try to keep... maybe.

Sounds like that will be a good setup for that range of horsepower. Make sure you pick up something to control those injectors (SAFC, Emanage).

That T3's got a weird 7 bolt exhaust flange on it. To make your downpipe, you can get a flange from here...http://www.blaastperformance.c...esbof

They also sell a internal wastegate for it...http://www.blaastperformance.c...leswg

Well 370cc Injectors might be pushing it for 250rwhp. Get your self something a lil bigger like RX7 450's you can pick up a set for usually the same price as the 370's.

Other then that, you should be pretty good with the turbo for those numbers.

I think the stock elbow is cast iron. Ive read it can be used, but its difficult welding a steel downpipie to it. Using that flange (or swingvalve housing) would make a much cleaner install.

If you have a 89 SOHC, you cant use the sidefeed SR injectors. You need top feed. Theres a link to a list of some OEM injectors in the 'Look Here First' sticky at the top of this forum.

Oh shoot I didn't even realize he was using Side fed injectors. Yah definitely you need to get top fed, which imo are better anyways. Here is a link to a whole injector spread sheet of what will and will not work.

That's okay, he can use the CA top feed 370's. Also, that dump is not going to fit without using the JGS mani, then you will end up putting the turbo in a less than desirable position. But you can join the club. I have a Z31, with a T04b compressor.

I have the side feed injectors (ka24de)... so i could use the sr's granted they will provide enough fuel.

as for the elbow I will try to use it if possible, but It depends on were the manifold will place the turbo.

Yes, the SR 370s should be fine.
